Website Support Developer - This key role is a diverse and hands-on position for an individual with exceptional customer service and technical skills. You'll be required to take part in a range of activities from assisting dotAgency's website clients with their understanding of our Content Management System and bespoke web solutions, to bug fixing and website quality control. You'll work as part of a team of two Support Developers, set to expand further in the near future.


Duties include:

  • Responding to support requests from website clients (by telephone, email and through our web-support desk)
  • Identifying the cause of and fixing issues in our bespoke website solutions
  • Preparing sites for go-live at the end of the development cycle
  • Assisting in the development of bespoke web-projects when required

Skills and experience required (essential):

  • Firm understanding of ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript and Content Management Systems
  • Firm understanding of website hosting and DNS related issues
  • Ability to discuss client service issues with each client in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Whilst not essential, our ideal Support Developer candidate will have:

  • A degree (or equivalent)
  • Any other languages/environments
  • Experience of working in a website design agency

Successful candidates should also have

  • Attention to detail
  • A passion to deliver great service to customers.
